NO NAME - THE OTHER SIDE

From the best progband of Luxembourg No Name, here is finally their latest album. A step further than 'The secret garden', putting a more balanced sound with a more distinguished production. From the beginning there is a overall feeling of IQ and Clepsydra influences. But they have a lot in common with their German brothers from Darius.
The second track 'Dolphins, sharks and a flood of sunshine' is a very strong song, showing the band at their best. Dominating keyboards with sharp guitar work.
'Strange decisions' has more a Marillion approach. Only think that Fish should be the vocalist.
The most special part of the album is a 35:50 minutes lasting epic called 'Tan 'Ibhan'. Divided in six passages all covering a part of the story.
After all I think that No Name should compose with more creativity and try to dare to wander new paths. Leave the standard cliché sympho behind and it will be allright.
