Yet
another IQ album with leftovers and unreleased material. But
we don't mind, for IQ has made themselves grown up to become
the absolute most famous (underground) prog band. The title
'The lost attic' is just a funny word joke, referring to their
first studio album 'Tales from the lush attic'.
Like songs that didn't get to Subterranea 'The universal scam',
'Eyes of the blind' and that even can't be found on their
debut 'Wintertell'. Very special is the fan-club single with
the middle section from 'The last human gateway' and the single
'The bold grenadier'. At the end of the album we get a live
bonus with a performance of 'Awake and nervous', 'Just changing
hands' and 'Widow's peak'. Nice album for fans and collectors.
